It was not the prettiest first half you will see this year in college basketball, but the Cats took a two point lead 31-29 into the half. Shooting to start the second half was pretty ugly and at the half way point Baylor had a 7 point lead 48-41. Cartier Diarra had a layup and then a three pointer to put take a 54-53 lead. When it looked like Baylor might have a comeback in them Cartier made one of the best balling saving plays you will see this year. As he was jumping out of bounds on the base line, he passes the ball to mid court where Barry Brown was waiting. Brown throw a dunk down, deja vu of Cartier's dunk against KU. With the win KSU is 8-2 in the Big 12 and a 1.5 game lead. Kansas State is looking good, with eight games remaining, but it is far from over. Especially with Texas Tech, Iowa St and Kansas all tied at 7-4.
Next game up is at Texas on Tuesday night.
